Need

Need + to + verb
Example:
I need to take some money from the bank because I want to buy some clothes.( It is necessary)
need to + verb = must + verb

need + noun

I need a cold drink.It's very hot in here.
need + noun = must have

Compare:  I'd like to.../ I need to.../ I must...
                  I'd like a.../ I need a.../ I must have a....


Put in need or must or like:
Examples: To make a cake,you..........flour,eggs and milk.
                To make a cake,you need flour,eggs and milk.

                  I'd ......to go to Indonesia for my next holiday.
                  I'd like to go to Indonesia for my next holiday.

1.Do you .....your car this evening?
2.I......remember to buy my wife a birthday present.
3.What would you.....to have for lunch today?
4.I really .....to go to bed early tonight.I'm very tired.
5.Does John...... to be so horrible to everyone?

Would You Like + To + Verb

Saya sambil membelajari keponakan bahasa Inggris, kawan-kawan.So,saya posting di blog,biar dia belajar menulis kapan saja sesuka hatinya.Dan juga biar blognya ikut update hehe

First words:

Would you like + to + verb.

Examples:

Would you like a cup of coffee ?
Yes,please.
No,thank you.

Would you like tea or coffee?
I'd like coffee,please.( I'd = I would )

Would you like to go to the movies tonight?
Yes, I would.
No,I wouldn't. ( wouldn't = would not )

What would you like to do this evening?
I'd like to go to the movies.

Where would you like to go tonight?
I'd like to stay at home.

Notes:

Would you like some tea? = Do you want some tea?

But
Do you like tea? = Do you think tea is nice?
Would you like to go to a movie? = Do you want to go to a movie? ( for example tonight)

But
Do you like movies? = in general.
I'd like a cup of tea. = Can I have a cup of tea now?

But
I like tea. = in general.
Choose the correct answer:
Examples: Do you like / would you like a diet cola now?
                 Do you like / would you like fast cars?

1. Where do you like / would you like to go this evening?
2. What do you like / would you like to eat now?
3. Do you like / would you like to eat at expensive restaurants?
4. Do you like / would you like your new boss?
