Most people today complain about being stressed.They complain that they have too much work and too little free time.And when people are stressed,they often become ill and have to take time off work.
There are many things you can do to make sure that you stay healthy.First of all,your diet is very important.You should eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and try to avoid fatty foods.You should also drink at least 2 litres of water every day and cut down on caffeine,so not too much coffee or tea and not too many sugary soft drinks.A lots of people have a very quick lunch,a sandwich perhaps at their desk,so they don't take proper break.It's also important to have a good breakfast before going to work,but most people just don't have time.
If you want to keep fit,you need to find time to take regular exercise.Most people now have very sedentary lifestyle: they sit at a desk all day and then sit in front of the television all evening. To keep your metabolism working well,it's a good idea to do something physical at least twice a week;maybe swimming ,jogging,or workout at the gym.Physical exercise is a good way of getting rid of those feelings of stress.
Most people also complain of being tired all the time.A good night's sleep is vital in maintaining good health.Experts say that we need between 6 and 8 hours sleep a night.If you suffer from insomnia and find it difficult to fall asleep when you go to bed,try drinking herbal tea before bedtime or have a hot bath with relaxing oils.
But perhaps the most important thing of all is your attitude.If you have a positif attitude you are less likely to suffer from stress-related illnesses.
